Socialism is a Return to Slavery

"One consequence of such politico-economic policies is a return to slavery. The more socialist a country, i.e., the more rigorously it is dedicated to fiat laws and money, the more marked the return to slavery. Slavery violates the fundamental premise of dominion work, responsibility. In slavery, an elite group orders work done. Personal motivation and purpose is replaced by social plans and goals. The elite assume more and more responsibility and freedom from control while placing all others under the slavery of a radically regulated and controlled society." ~ R. J. Rushdoony, Systematic Theology, p. 1049

  1. There are three kinds of slavery...
    1) Private slavery. That was mostly done away with in the 18th and 19th centuries. There is still clandestine sexual slavery and service in many countries.
    2) Statist slavery. The government enslaves it's people through socialism, taxes, tyranny and injustice. This is the worst kind and most prevelant kind of slavery during the history of mankind. And continues to be the worst and most dangerous. It is especially bad in the West because like Israel we think we are free but we live under an ugly form of Secular Humanist Tyranny.
    3) Slavery to sin. The root of 1 and 2. When a country falls deeper and deeper into private sin types 1 and 2 slavery greatly increases.

  2. Very interesting... The elite are free from control!!! We the peons, the little guys, the atoms of the social mass... are the ones being controlled. How very convenient.
